“Good businesses shouldn't stay invisible.”
Behind Markty there are seven years of digital marketing and software experience. As we brought those two together, we kept coming back to a single problem:
Large companies have marketing teams. Small businesses are usually expected to do everything themselves.
Producing content, showing up on Google, running social media, replying to reviews — and now keeping up with AI on top of all that…
We don't think a business owner should have to do all of it.
We're against AI handing people more tools, more screens and more work.
We believe the opposite: AI should be managed like an employee and actually do the work.
That's why we built Markty.
We want a future where good businesses don't need a large marketing team to be found, to earn trust and to grow.
Large companies have marketing departments. We want small businesses to have Markty.
We changed some ideas. We crossed others out. And some we're still building.
the early days
“At first we thought of this more as a content tool.”
Ülkem added:
“People don't need more content ideas — they need to stay consistently visible.”
Then we realised:
These aren't separate features. They're parts of the same problem.
Sinan changed it:
“Not single tools — a system that works together.”
At some point we learned:
team note:
“don't forget this.”
What we learned from users
A trial isn't always the answer.
Without regular use, the sense of value fades too.
sticky > shiny
The real pivot wasn't in our product — it was in how we think.
Before:
“Users come to Markty and do their marketing.”
Now:
“Markty runs the marketing on the user's behalf.”
Ülkem:
“This is where we stopped explaining the product and started explaining the problem.”
Sinan:
“Building a tool is easy. Building a system that truly takes the work is hard.”
Team:
“We're still working this one out ↓”
More regular use. Less effort from the user.
Today
An AI employee that actually does your business's marketing.
It isn't finished.
Markty is still changing.
And we're still learning.
I suppose that's the good part.
