Apollo.io Integration

Connecting Apollo.io gives the Sales Expert live access to your own Apollo account. You describe the audience you are after in normal language, Markty converts that into Apollo search filters and returns the results in chat, where you can enrich, export or turn any contact into outreach content. Enrichment spends your Apollo credits, so Markty shows the cost and waits for your approval before running it.

What Markty does with Apollo.io

  • Search people and companies in plain language. A request like "marketing managers at consulting firms in London with under 50 employees" is translated into Apollo's own filter fields (title, seniority, location, industry, employee range, technologies) and returned as a paged result list in chat.
  • Enrich contacts behind an explicit credit gate. Searching people and companies is free; enrichment costs one Apollo credit per contact, and Markty shows the number of credits, your current balance and the remaining balance before anything runs.
  • Act on results in place: export the list to CSV, copy an email, open the Apollo profile, create an Apollo list from selected contacts, or start an outreach email, LinkedIn post, Instagram post, blog post or sales pitch seeded with that contact's details.
  • Match a brand persona to real people. On a persona in Brand Voice, Find Matching Contacts searches Apollo using that persona's demographics and shows the contacts that fit, ready to enrich or push into a list.

How to connect it

  1. 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Apollo.io card. Integrations require a paid plan: trial accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of a Connect button.
  2. 2Click Connect Apollo, authorize on Apollo's screen, and you are returned to Markty. The card then shows Connected along with your Apollo credit balance.
  3. 3Start a chat with the Sales Expert and use the Find Customers, Search Companies or Enrich Contacts starters, or simply describe the audience you want.
  4. 4Optional: open Brand Voice, go to Personas and use Find Matching Contacts on a persona to search Apollo with that persona's profile.

FAQ

Does Markty use my Apollo credits?

Only for enrichment, at one credit per contact. People and company search costs nothing. Before any enrichment runs, Markty shows how many credits it will use, your current balance and what would be left, and waits for you to confirm.

Do I need my own Apollo.io account?

Yes. You connect your own account through Apollo's OAuth flow and Markty works inside your plan's limits and your credit balance. Markty does not resell Apollo data.

Does the connection expire?

The Apollo access token expires, but Markty refreshes it automatically when the connection is close to expiring and tells you when it has. If a refresh ever fails, the card asks you to reconnect.

Can Markty send outreach emails through Apollo?

No. Markty writes the outreach content from an Apollo contact and hands it back to you in chat. Sending runs through a connected Gmail or Outlook account, and only after you have seen the recipient, subject and full body and explicitly approved it.
