Google Analytics Integration

Google Analytics is a read-only connection: Markty pulls GA4 reports and never writes anything back. It turns them into a plain-language weekly read of your site, sessions, users and pageviews week over week, an eight-week trend, top landing pages, traffic sources and device split, plus one insight card every Monday carrying a concrete next step. Each recommendation hands off into the SEO or social media chat with the prompt already written for you.

What Markty does with Google Analytics

  • Connect over OAuth with the Google account that owns the property. Markty then picks the GA4 property itself by running a 28-day sessions report on each candidate and taking the busiest one, so there is nothing to configure.
  • The Analytics page in Markty shows sessions, users and pageviews against the previous period with percentage deltas, an eight-week sessions trend, top landing pages, traffic sources and device split.
  • A model writes a plain summary of what is happening plus a short list of recommendations. Each one has a one-click handoff into the SEO or social media expert chat, carrying the full page URL and the metric that motivated it.
  • Every Monday the Performance Analyst drops one insight card per property into the Strategist inbox, deduplicated by ISO week, which you can act on or dismiss. The first card is generated as soon as you connect.

How to connect it

  1. 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Google Analytics card.
  2. 2Connecting is a paid-plan feature: trial accounts see an upgrade button instead of Connect.
  3. 3Click Connect and sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property. Markty resolves the property itself and generates the first insight card as soon as the connection completes.
  4. 4Open the Analytics page for the week-over-week read, the eight-week trend, the source and device breakdowns, and the recommendations.
  5. 5From then on a new card lands in the Strategist inbox each Monday. Click through to a specialist chat to turn it into content, or dismiss it.

FAQ

Can Markty change anything in my Google Analytics?

No. The connection is read-only. It runs GA4 reports and reads account and property lists, and there is no write action in it.

Which property does it use?

Markty picks it for you. It lists the accounts and properties on the connected Google account, runs a 28-day sessions report on each candidate, and uses the busiest one. There is no property picker to fill in.

What exactly does it report?

Sessions, users and pageviews for the week and the week before with percentage deltas, an eight-week sessions trend, your top landing pages, traffic sources and device split.

How often does it refresh?

The Analytics page is cached and rebuilt on demand when you refresh it. The weekly insight card is drafted every Monday morning UTC, one per property, and a week that already has a card is skipped.
