Google Search Console Integration

Google Search Console is not connectable yet. The integration is written and sitting in the product, but it is switched off in both the Markty app and the server until Google approves our OAuth app for the read-only Search Console scope, and the card on the Integrations page shows that note instead of a working connect button. This page describes what is waiting behind that flag, so you can judge whether it will fit your stack when it opens.

What Markty does with Google Search Console

  • Connect over Google OAuth, then choose which of your verified Search Console properties Markty should read. Markty can match your business website to the right property on its own, and asks you to pick rather than guessing when more than one property fits the same host.
  • A weekly snapshot of your Search Analytics query rows: query, clicks, impressions, CTR and average position, with week-over-week deltas on clicks, impressions and position.
  • Queries get sorted into four groups, winners, near misses, title problems and decay, and a single top opportunity is picked out of them.
  • That opportunity becomes one plain-language card in the Strategist inbox on Monday mornings, with a self-contained handoff into the SEO expert chat. A week with nothing notable produces no card at all rather than a padded one. The whole path is read-only.

How to connect it

  1. 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Google Search Console card. The connect button is disabled today and shows the note that we are waiting on Google's approval.
  2. 2Once Google approves the scope, the button goes live and takes you to Google's consent screen for read-only Search Console access.
  3. 3You pick the verified property Markty should read, or let it match your business website to one of them.
  4. 4From the following Monday, any notable movement arrives as a single card in the Strategist inbox with a next step into the SEO chat.

FAQ

Can I connect Search Console today?

No. The connection is flagged off in both the Markty app and the server, so the button is disabled and the backend refuses calls. It goes live once Google approves our OAuth app for the read-only Search Console scope.

Why is it waiting on Google?

Reading Search Console data uses a scope Google treats as sensitive, so the app has to pass Google's verification review before any user can authorize it. The submission is in and we have not been given a date.

Will Markty change anything in Search Console?

No. The integration is read-only end to end. It reads your verified properties and their search analytics rows and writes nothing back.

What will I actually get each week?

At most one card, not a dashboard dump. Markty sorts your queries into winners, near misses, title problems and decay, picks the single best opportunity, and writes it up with a concrete next step. Quiet weeks produce nothing.
