Facebook Integration
Connecting Facebook lets Markty publish to the Facebook Pages you administer and read back a simple engagement summary for each one. You schedule an image post or a Story from the content calendar, and Markty publishes it at the time you set. The reporting is deliberately basic: page followers, and likes, comments and shares on recent posts.
What Markty does with Facebook
- Scheduled posts publish to your first connected Facebook Page. Markty lists the Pages your account manages on the integration card.
- Schedule image posts and Stories from the content calendar, with the same drag-to-reschedule and approval flow as the other social channels.
- Read a per-Page engagement summary: follower count, total posts, total likes, comments and shares, average engagement per post, and the recent posts themselves with their individual counts.
- Draft the post copy and hashtags in your brand voice in English or Turkish, on top of your shared social style guide, with a short per-network adaptation for length, tone register, hashtags and formatting.
How to connect it
- 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Facebook card.
- 2Click Connect and grant the three permissions Facebook asks for: list your Pages, read Page engagement, and manage Page posts.
- 3Create a scheduled post from the content calendar, choose Facebook, then pick an image post or a Story.
- 4Open the Facebook card after connecting to see the engagement summary for a connected Page.
FAQ
Can Markty post to my personal Facebook profile?
No. The connection is scoped to Facebook Pages you administer. Personal profile posting is not part of the integration.
Can I schedule Reels or album posts to a Page?
Not from the content calendar. Markty deliberately exposes only image posts and Stories for Facebook: the validation for the other formats is not mature enough yet, and we did not want a tile in the calendar that could fail at publish time.
Do I need Facebook connected to use Instagram?
Instagram requires your Instagram Business or Creator account to be linked to a Facebook Page on Instagram's side, but inside Markty they are two separate connections. Connecting one does not connect the other.
Does Markty manage Facebook Ads?
No. There is no ads management in the integration. The permissions Markty requests cover listing Pages, reading Page engagement and publishing Page posts, nothing related to ad accounts or spend.
