LinkedIn Integration
Connecting LinkedIn gives Markty permission to publish to the LinkedIn account you sign in with. You authorise once on LinkedIn's own screen, then posts drafted in Markty are queued on the shared content calendar and published automatically at the time you set. The connection is publish-side only: Markty does not pull your LinkedIn analytics or read your feed.
What Markty does with LinkedIn
- Publish every LinkedIn post format Markty supports: plain text, a single image or up to 20 images in one multi-image post with alt text, video, a PDF document with its own title, and link articles whose title and description you can edit.
- Set visibility per post to Public or Connections only before it is scheduled.
- Draft the copy inside Markty: the AI writes the post and hashtags in your brand voice in English or Turkish, you can regenerate it, and a link article auto-fills its title and description from the URL's own metadata.
- Queue posts on the content calendar and drag them to a new slot. Every social post waits for your approval before it goes live, and you can approve them one at a time or in bulk.
How to connect it
- 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the LinkedIn card.
- 2Click Connect, then sign in on LinkedIn's own authorisation screen and grant permission to post on your behalf.
- 3Back in Markty the card reads Connected and shows the access token's expiry date, with a warning badge when fewer than seven days remain.
- 4Create a post from the content calendar, choose LinkedIn and a post format, then set the date, time and visibility.
FAQ
Does Markty read my LinkedIn analytics or engagement?
No. The LinkedIn connection is used for publishing. Markty stores your connection status and basic profile details (name, headline, profile picture) to show on the integration card, and nothing about impressions, reactions or followers.
Does the LinkedIn connection expire?
Yes, LinkedIn access tokens have an expiry date. Markty displays the exact valid-until date and the number of days remaining on the integration card, flags it when fewer than seven days are left, and marks the card Token Expired so you know to reconnect.
Which other channels can Markty schedule alongside LinkedIn?
Instagram, Facebook Pages, Pinterest and your blog through WordPress. Those are the only publishing targets in the content calendar.
How do I remove the connection and its data?
Disconnect from the LinkedIn card at any time. There is also a separate action that permanently deletes the data Markty holds for the LinkedIn integration.
