Gmail Integration

Connecting Gmail gives Markty read access to triage your inbox and draft replies for you. Every email in a scan is classified and labeled back into Gmail itself, and mail that genuinely needs a human answer gets a brand-voice reply created as a native Gmail draft in the original thread. Markty never sends mail on its own: you open the draft in Gmail, read it, and send it yourself.

What Markty does with Gmail

  • Real labels in your real mailbox: every scanned email is classified for urgency and given a category from a fixed 7-label taxonomy (Lead, Support, Partnership, Invoice, Marketing, Notification, Other). The label is created in Gmail under a Markty/ prefix with its own color, so your mailbox stays a tidy fixed set instead of sprawling. Mail labeled on an earlier scan is skipped.
  • Native draft replies, never sends: automated mail (receipts, 2FA codes, notifications, newsletters, no-reply senders) is filtered out, and genuine questions get a ready-to-send reply in your brand voice, created as a Gmail draft threaded into the conversation. The reply is written in Turkish or English to match the incoming message, and other languages fall back to English. The inbox card links straight to it.
  • Follow-up reminders on your own outreach: sent mail that has gone roughly 3 days without an answer is surfaced as a follow-up card with a drafted nudge written from your side. Threads that already got a reply are skipped, so you never chase someone who answered.
  • Gmail in the AI advisor: once connected, the advisor can fetch emails and threads, work with drafts, manage labels and look up contacts. Sending and replying exist but are hard-gated: the email must have been previewed on an earlier turn and you must type the exact confirmation phrase before anything goes out.

How to connect it

  1. 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Gmail card.
  2. 2Connecting is a paid-plan feature: trial accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of a connect button. Click Connect, read the short pre-connect guide, then authorize your Google account through Composio OAuth.
  3. 3Markty runs a wider first scan on return, pulling recent inbox mail so your inbox is populated immediately rather than empty.
  4. 4Work from the Markty inbox: read what was triaged, open the drafted reply in Gmail to review and send, or mark the item done or dismissed.

FAQ

Will Markty send email from my account?

Not on its own. The inbox automation is draft-only by design. In advisor chat, a send is refused unless you previewed the exact email on an earlier turn and then typed the confirmation phrase.

What labels does it add to my mailbox?

Only the seven fixed ones: Lead, Support, Partnership, Invoice, Marketing, Notification and Other. They are nested under a Markty/ prefix and each gets a dedicated color, so nothing sprawls. Markty only creates and applies labels; deleting them is something you do in Gmail.

How much of my mailbox does it read?

A bounded slice. The first scan pulls a wider batch of recent inbox mail, later scans look at recent mail from the last few days, and no more than 10 fresh emails are classified per run. Anything already labeled on a previous scan is skipped.

What language will the drafted reply be in?

Turkish or English, matched to the incoming message. Markty detects which of the two the sender used and writes the reply in it rather than defaulting to your brand language. Messages in other languages get an English reply.

Does anything else use my inbox data?

Yes, one roll-up: Markty groups recurring questions across your connected channels into content suggestions with a drafted answer, so the things customers keep asking can become an FAQ or a newsletter.
