Calendly Integration

This is a deliberately narrow integration: Markty can read your Calendly, and it can create a shareable scheduling link. That is the whole surface. It cannot create, move or cancel a meeting, so treat it as a way to pull your booked calls into a conversation and to drop a booking link into outreach copy, not as calendar management.

What Markty does with Calendly

  • Read your bookings: list scheduled events, open a single event, and list or open the invitees on it.
  • Read your event types, including a single event type's detail, so the assistant knows what you actually offer.
  • Check availability: list an event type's available times, your availability schedules, and your busy times.
  • Create a shareable scheduling link for an existing event type, ready to paste into an email or a post.

How to connect it

  1. 1Open Integrations in Markty and find the Calendly card. Integrations require a paid plan: trial accounts see an upgrade prompt instead of a Connect button.
  2. 2Open the Calendly card and read the pre-connect guide. It states the prerequisite, a Calendly account, and repeats the limit: read and scheduling links only, no creating or cancelling events.
  3. 3Click Connect, sign in to Calendly and approve the requested permissions. The OAuth handoff runs through Composio, our integration provider. You are redirected back and the card switches to Connected.
  4. 4Ask the assistant in chat, for example "what meetings do I have this week", "who's booked onto my demo this afternoon", or "create a 30-minute intro link I can share". Disconnect from the same card at any time.

FAQ

Can Markty book, move or cancel a meeting for me?

No. The integration is read plus one write, creating a scheduling link. Creating, rescheduling and cancelling events are not available.

Why did a scheduling link request fail?

A scheduling link is generated for an event type that already exists in Calendly. If you have not set up that event type, create it in Calendly first, then ask again.

Is Calendly thinner than the Todoist, Asana and Jira integrations?

Yes, and intentionally. Todoist, Asana and Jira have full create and delete surfaces. Calendly is nine read tools and one link-creation tool, nothing more.

Does Markty sync Calendly bookings into its content calendar?

No. Calendly data is read on request in chat, there is no background sync into Markty's calendar.

Does connecting Calendly connect my Google Calendar too?

No. These are separate integrations with separate permissions. Connecting Calendly grants Markty nothing on any other calendar.
